Manage Invasive Plants and Remove Brush from a Trail at Houghton Graves Park
Join the Harpswell Invasive Plant Partnership and Harpswell Heritage Land Trust volunteers to move a brush pile and manage invasive plants at this small preserve on Orr’s Island on Friday, July 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Please bring work gloves, water, tick and sun protection. There is no need for you to sign up in advance – just show up and park by the side of the road at 1714 Harpswell Islands Road, Orr’s Island.
This event is in collaboration with the Harpswell Invasive Plant Partnership.
Help Clean up the Grounds around the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust Office
We are looking for volunteers to join the Building and Grounds Committee to neaten up outside our office building (mowing, mulching, removing small trees, cleaning up lumber, leaf blowing) on Saturday, June 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Please bring work gloves, water, tick and sun protection. There is no need for you to sign up in advance – just show up at 153 Harpswell Neck Road.
