Checking in: Harpswell Heritage Land Trust and COVID-19

We hope you are staying safe and well. It’s a great time of year to be out in nature watching spring unfold.

Our office is closed and staff are mostly working from home, but we are still working to make sure you have trails and preserves to enjoy and ideas for engaging with nature during this time of social distancing. We are continuing to conserve special places in Harpswell. Our work is for current and future generations, and we are staying the course.

Our programs are canceled until further notice. We will update you via email and on our website when this changes. We are not ready to make any decisions about summer programming, but we’ll be in touch. In the meantime, we encourage you to check out our daily outdoor activities for kids and adults on our website and notes and photos on seasonal changes and wildlife in our Harpswell Nature Watchers Facebook group and email list.

Our trails and preserves are open! Click here for trail guidelines to keep everyone safe. Click here for information about where to enjoy the outdoors in Harpswell. Getting outside and staying active, as well as eating well, sleeping and connecting with loved ones (even if virtually) are all ways to keep ourselves well.

We want to stay in touch with you! Since the office is closed, email is generally the best way to contact us, but you can also call our office number at 207-721-1121.
