HIPP: Learn About Herbicide Use and Invasive Plant Controls with Amanda Devine
Amanda Devine, Regional Steward Manager with Maine Coast Heritage Trust (MCHT), will offer a slide presentation for the Harpswell Invasive Plant Partnership (HIPP) and interested friends and residents on Wednesday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Elijah Kellogg Church in Harpswell. Amanda Devine received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bates College and a Master of Science in Botany from the University of Vermont’s Field Naturalist Program, where she focused on carbon cycling in the aftermath of forest fire. She returned to Maine in 2007 and has since become passionate about science-based management of coastal Maine’s natural resources. Amanda stewards MCHT properties in Midcoast Maine.
