Visit the Forest Playground with the Southern Midcoast Forest Playgroup
Join Harpswell Heritage Land Trust and the Southern Midcoast Forest Playgroup to visit the Forest Playground! Led by Julia McLeod, we will go for a short hike and then play together! The Forest Playground was created by Harpswell Heritage Land Trust to engage young people through open-ended and nature-based play and discovery. Designed as a portable pop-up, it rotates to different sites and will soon be taken down for the winter. Children can climb, swing, cook in the forest kitchen, make music and art, read, explore nature, and play games. Kids love this place! Learn more by clicking here.
The Southern Midcoast Forest Playgroup is parent-facilitated program that aims to provide a space for young children to explore, learn and interact outside. For more information, check out their Facebook group.
