Fall Stewardship Work Days 2017

We hope you can help build two new trails. We depend on volunteers to get this work done and would love to see you there!

Liberty Farm Trail

Friday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

We hope to finish up this short trail. Work includes raking, painting trail blazes, building a small bridge, clipping branches and more. Please bring work gloves, water and snacks. If you have them, please bring the following tools: round point shovel, hand pruning saw, mattock or grub hoe, leaf rake.

The parking area for the Liberty Farm Trail is a gravel pull off on the east side of Harpswell Neck Road (Rt. 123) around two miles north of Mountain Road and 100 feet north of Lily Pond Road. Contact Ron Davis with questions at 207-729-4395 or rbdavis428@comcast.net.

Otter Brook Trails

Friday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and
Saturday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

We are working to clear the trail system at Otter Brook. Work includes leveling the walking path, removing tripping hazards, clipping branches from the sides of the trail, painting blazes and more. Please bring work gloves, water and snacks. If you have them, please bring the following tools: round point shovel, hand pruning saw, mattock or grub hoe, leaf rake.
