Winter Solstice Lantern Walk & Celebration 2025
Celebrate the winter solstice with a lantern walk and bonfire. Welcome the lengthening days with light, treats, and community. Walk along a short, easy trail lined with lanterns and light installations. Bring a lantern to carry if you’d like. Warm up with fire, hot cocoa, and sweet treats.
All are welcome at this free, family-friendly event. Advance registration is requested to help us plan.
You are welcome to show up at any time during the event. The lantern walk is self-guided, and there will be cocoa, snacks, and campfires from 5:00-6:30 p.m. There will be a solstice acknowledgement and invitation at 5:30 p.m.
Bring warm clothes, a flashlight, and a travel mug for your cocoa (to help us use fewer disposable cups). Feel free to bring a lantern if you would like. We will provide battery-powered lights to place in your lanterns.
