Strategic Plan
HHLT is excited to announce the commencement of our strategic planning process. As part of this important initiative, we will be seeking input from both the public and stakeholders to help shape our future goals and priorities.
A strategic plan is essential for HHLT because it provides a clear roadmap for achieving long-term goals and fulfilling our mission. By articulating a vision for the future and identifying key priorities, a strategic plan helps align staff, board members, and stakeholders around shared objectives. It enables us to anticipate challenges, respond proactively to changing environments, and make informed decisions about resource allocation. Strategic planning also fosters accountability and transparency, ensuring that progress can be measured, and adjustments made as needed. A well-crafted strategic plan empowers us to stay focused, adapt to new opportunities, and maximize our impact within the community.
HHLT stands at an important moment in its history. In recent years, we have expanded our capacity to offer more programming, increased our land stewardship and conservation efforts, and increased our impact on the community. Looking ahead, it is important we continue to grow and evolve to further strengthen our conservation efforts, enhance our commitment to the community, and fulfill our mission.
We are in the process of conducting broad stakeholder engagement, including listening sessions, surveys, and targeted consultations, to gather valuable feedback regarding HHLT’s vision, mission, and areas of focus from our members, donors, supporters, volunteers, and community members. The responses will play a crucial role in guiding decision-making and ensuring that the strategic plan reflects the needs and aspirations of the community. In early May, we will share an electronic survey. We welcome participation from everyone in our community, and we hope you’ll share your thoughts with us and make your voice heard! All participants will be entered for a chance to win a $50 gift card from Iris Eats.
