30-Day Get Outside Challenge

The days are getting shorter, Daylight-Saving Time is ending, and winter is right around the corner. It can be easy to spend more time inside this time of year, but getting outside is important for both our physical and mental health—and a little fresh air can help keep the cabin fever away!

The Harpswell Heritage Land Trust and Harpswell Parks & Recreation invite you to join us for our 30-Day Get Outside Challenge and make getting outside part of your daily routine. Each day in November, log an outdoor experience. Go for a walk, hike, bike ride, run, work in the garden, take some photos, read a book outside, or come up with your own idea. If you do it outside, it counts!

Feel free to print and use our tracker below (or customize your own–electronic is fine!) to check off or document your activity each day. Once the challenge is complete, stop by the HHLT office (temporarily at 9 Ash Point Rd, the old West Harpswell Elementary School) or the Town office to claim a prize.
