High Tide Family Fun
Join the HHLT community for an evening of high tide family fun. This celebratory event is the last of our Climate Resilience Series and will be highlighted by fellowship, field games, door prizes, climate action, and free food (while supplies last). We’ll be kicking things off at 5:30 p.m. with field games for all ages and free food from the Spud Man food truck. From 6 to 7:30 we’ll learn about the great work the town has done, and continues to do, concerning coastal flooding around Harpswell. Then join our new program director and a member of the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI) to learn how you can become a citizen scientist during extreme high tides and storms throughout the year by collecting information in the areas of Harpswell that you love most. Your data may even be used by scientists and local officials for better weather forecasts and making decisions in Harpswell.
This event is free and open to all. It’s high “tide” for some family fun!
